I am an Aquarius, human, and an athlete, so water is vital to my being. I love being in it, swimming through it (preferably naked), splashing around in it (rainstorms are extra special), and watching it flow. Whether it is a narrow streams, a rushing river, or the water falling from the metal rooftop, I enjoy watching the energy and beauty of water in motion. I also find it incredible how both humans and earth try to hold water back, divert it, and pump it places. Over time, all unnatural manipulation water fails because the damn breaks, the boulder collapses, or the earth warms. Water goes, water flows, it doesn’t ask for permission to fulfill its mission. It wants to go from on place to another, with as much grace as it can.
When Bruce Lee said, “Be water…” its simplicity was profound. To be water, to flow, is to capture a majority of what it means to be human.
Be water.
